Our Story
J'KARTA is an international Ghanaian fashion brand which focuses on manufacturing premium eco-friendly products and accessories. The brand mainly uses both recycled and new burlap in producing some of the finest sustainable unisex clothes, shoes, bags and other fashion accessories.
The word J'KARTA means 'My Sack', translated from the popular West African native Hausa language. The brand's birth was motivated by the belief in protecting the environment and creating a greener world, where products such as jute sacks (burlap), car tyres, pre-owned jeans, woollen materials, and leather can be recycled into beautifully crafted clothes, bags and shoes.
